Jimmy Preston Daniel, 81, passed away January 23, 2015 at home with family by his side. He was born August 27, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and resided in Saint Anthony, Idaho for 11 years and most of his life in Nevada. He is survived by his wife, Marie, 11 children: Danny, Nina, Jimmy Jr., Suzette, Randy, Joni, Larry, Billie, Steven, Victor and Jeffrey, 24 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. He was a wonderful and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed. He loved the rodeo, fishing & hunting. True Cowboy so, all cowboy's wear your hats proud for Jimmy everyday. Was one of Reno's best flooring guys in town. Services were held Weds. January 28, 2015 in Las Vegas, NV.

Grandpa Jim was so much fun growing up he made things like building a fence at the Dayton house and collecting fire wood something
to look forward to during the day. Grandpa had a way of making chores not seem like chores.
Grandpa was always able to take ordinary nights and make them more exciting one night in particular while living in Dayton grandpa came home in his big white Cadillac the moon was full and what look like a moonbeam was shining down on the big white car. He woke Poppy , Grandma and I up in the middle of the night screaming for us to help hold down the car so the aliens wouldn't take it. Boy was Grandma mad that night.
The last story I have about grandpa is when we were living in Washoe Valley we had a bunch of rabbits I became very close to all of them even giving each one of them a name. But being on the ranch I learned quickly that there are no pets and one evening while eating what I thought was fried chicken I soon came to learn I was eating my favorite pet rabbit. Boy I was mad that night.
