We are saddened to announce the passing of John Spring. John passed peacefully in his home in Sugar Land, Texas, with his wife Deborah, his son Kevin, his daughter Cheryl, his grandchildren Keira, Lucy, Madeline, and Jameson, son-in-law Lucas, and daughter-in-law Jennifer all by his side.
John was our teacher, our coach, our supporter, our voice of reason, and loved his family truly above all.
John was born in England to Jack and Evelyn Spring, moved to Canada, and later Cleveland, Ohio where he married and started a family after his service in the US Army in Vietnam. He loved to travel around the world and always had a strict itinerary. He loved his Toronto Maple Leafs and his Cleveland Browns and he loved his yoga group in The Woodlands. He worked for BP for 38 years but never missed a practice, game, or dance for his kids or grandkids, even in sickness.
A memorial will be held on 1/13/24 from 12 pm-4 pm at the home of Kevin Spring in Richmond, Texas.

John and I served together in vietnam. My condolences to his family. He was a good friend and was always there when duty called. God speed.

I worked with John at BP and he was a great person. Every time I go down Dover Center Road I think of him. My deepest sympathies to his wife and family. He is gone too soon.
