Joyce D. Sabia

Joyce Coppola Sabia passed away peacefully at her home on December 12th after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 66 years old. Joyce was one of five children born to Joseph and Theresa Coppola. Joyce was born in Stamford, CT and relocated to South Florida with her family in 1970. She graduated from Stamford High School and later attended Broward Community College. She spent over 30 years employed by Morgan Stanley (formerly Smith Barney). Joyce is survived by her husband, Doug Coill, mother, Theresa Coppola, sister Marian Coppola and brothers, Chuck Coppola and Nick Coppola. Joyce is also survived by her three children, Stephen Sabia, Natalie Sabia Hackett and Jenna Sabia Mathis. Joyce was blessed with six beautiful grandchildren all under the age of six; Sofia, Kiara, Sage, Grayson, Bryce, and Sloane. Joyce was loved by so many; she was one of those special people who would light up a room with her kindness and caring personality. She loved life and lived it to the fullest each and every day. Joyce was passionate about spending quality time with her family and friends, keeping active and spending time at the beach. She was also known for her very thoughtful gift-giving ability and positive energy. A Memorial Gathering was held Friday, December 14th from 4-6pm at Babione - Kraeer Funeral Home. Mass was held on Saturday, December 15th at 11am at St Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Joyce was laid to rest at Boca Raton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
