Jules Mollere Obituary

Jules Gustave Mollere III, PhD. died on December 1, 2021. Dr. Mollere earned a Masters Degree from M.I.T., a Doctorate in Physics at Tulane University and did postgraduate work at the Imperial College London and Durham University in England. He taught physics and astronomy at the University of Western Michigan and Henderson State University. At Henderson State, he was also Planetarium Director. While at Henderson, he created several original planetarium shows. He was working on theories in the unification of gravity and magnetism when he died. Jules was predeceased by his parents Jules Gustave Mollere, Jr. and Miriam Ruth Chevis Mollere. He is survived by his three sisters and their families. Funeral services will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Mass will follow at 1 p.m. "All I want to do is learn the mind of God. I think this is the brother of a former singing friend of mine, Nanette Mollere Martin, and I want to send wishes of peace and comfort to her and all her family. I miss her. Love and Hugs to all.
