Kenneth A. Lorick LEXINGTON Funeral services for Kenneth A. Lorick, 83, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at White Rock Baptist Church in Chapin with interment to follow in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605 or White Rock Baptist Church, 1409 Peace Haven Rd., Chapin, SC 29036. Mr. Lorick was born July 20, 1933 in Leesville, SC and passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. He was a son of the late William Oscar Lorick and Vera Matthews Lorick. He was a member of White Rock Baptist Church. Mr. Lorick was a Shriner with the Omar Temple in Charleston and a lifetime member of the VFW and was retired from SCE&G. Kenneth served our country in the U.S. Army. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will surely be missed. Mr. Lorick is survived by his wife, Betty Williams Lorick of Lexington, formerly of Orangeburg; daughters, Kathy Lorick Bittinger (John) of Lexington, Barbara Lorick Huckaby (Joey) of Chapin; grandchildren, Claire F. Fanning of Columbia, Keelan C. Molony of Chapin, Hannah G. Hicken of Lexington; sister-in-law, Juline Lorick of Batesburg and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Lorick Stoddard; sisters, Dorothy Taylor, Wydenia Hall and brothers, J. W. Lorick and Sammie Lorick.
