I am not sorry this message is a bit long, because Larry is so much more than a few words. As I stepped out of my door,I heard deep breathing and felt a presence behind me. I met Larry Jehle at work in 2010. Now as I slowly turned around, I was face to face (with what I didn't even know then) was a looming Fett. I grabbed my throat and heard Larry's gentle laugh. "You dog!!" I yelped, which only made him laugh harder. That next year, I walked out of the office to find a full regalia, authentic WWII medic. Being a WWII museum supporter, I was more than impressed with the detail Larry had invested in his portrayal of a time gone by. Larry has always been one of the hardest workers I have ever met. Being his employee health nurse, I often worked with Larry on protecting his health while at work. In those discussions, I was always impressed by his determined work ethic and heroic independence. I was often embarrassed by his ability to recall every detail of his care, work:life balance, and his unrelenting life goals. I often witnessed Larry courageously take care of his transport assignments, as a patient advocate . He even stayed late one day to help us gather a mother duck and her babies, so we could relocate them to Honey Island( from outside my office!). My last memory of Larry is that he spotted a Wonder Woman cup in my office. He was determined to get that mug to the next conference, so that he cold get Linda Carter (TV's Wonder Woman) to sign it.
I charged Larry with taking care of himself and doing absolutely every single thing he wanted to do at that conference. I asked him to not worry too much about the list of wishes he was fulfilling for others. But then.... that wouldn't have been Larry. To his family and friends, my condolences and wishes for peace. To Larry, tell Superman and all the other superheroes to move over. Larry has arrived.

To Holly and family, I am so sorry about Larry. He was a tough little boy, and an even tougher man made stronger by all of your love and support as a family. No doubt he will be looking down today smiling at a sea of crazy Who Dats in black and gold coming to celebrate his life. Many prayers and love for your family...

I'm praying for your family bc I know how much they loved you and how hard this has been on them but I take comfort knowing you r in heaven. U were such an amazing man who gave so much joy to children and you continue to do so from up above by asking for donations. It's sad w all this bad in the world we have to loose a good one, but God has a plan and I'm certain you see that now. RIP " Holly's little brother "
