Lindsay D. Hanna, 91, of Carmel died on February 4, 2015 at his home. Born in New Jersey, he spent most of his life in Connecticut and retired to Carmel in 1984. A graduate of Yale, Hanna served in the U.S. Army in WWII, and spent his entire business career at the Cigna Corporation of Bloomfield, CT. In Carmel, Hanna served on the Forest and Beach Commission, the Planning Commission, and chaired Carmel's 75th Anniversary Committee. Hanna is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rebecca Frost Hanna, his three daughters, and his four grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 14 at 2:00pm at La Playa Hotel at Camino Real and 8th Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
