Bob and Debbie, I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Her leadership and guidance made the home economics programs in Jefferson County the best. We all loved and admired her. We were so fortunate to have had her as a mentor. May your memories bring you comfort.

Bob and Debbie- LaVerne was such a positive support and influence in the lives of home economics teachers in Jeffco. Her efforts and support brought me to Jeffco, and her wisdom & friendship was a significant force in my personal and professional life.

Your family was always a part of her conversations, and I know her faith and her love was a force within your family.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family as your mourn your loss and celebrate LaVerne's life.

I can still see her in the stands of the numerous basketball games she attended while we were growing up! She will be missed!

Dear Bob and Debbie-
Thinking of you and all your family. I remember your Mom (and you!) so well at Golden Pond where my folks (Herb and Edna Larson) lived too. She really lived a full life, but having had her in your lives for so long makes the space she leaves behind feel sooo big - I know! How wonderful for all of you that she got to really know her great grandkids - and they her! Hope it helps to know how far memories of her have spread! Sending you warm thoughts at this difficult time. Fondly - Joyce Larson
