Peg and My sister Gerry arranged a picnic in Rock Creek Park in 1951.My sister brought me and Peg brought a distant relative. Her guest wasn't impressed by me and I wasn't impressed by her. But we b oth felt we had an obligation -she to Peg and me to my sister. Well long story short ---we married and will celebrate our 58th anniversery in August of this year.

And we have four children and nine grandchildren----and we have Peg and my sister to thank for that Blind Date so long long ago.

Peg Warren lived a wonderful life. She "showered the people she loved with love," and she loved everyone. She will be sorely missed here, but greeted with open arms by her friends who have gone before.

My condolences to the family. Peg and I both taught at PGCC and when she moved to Ingleside she and my mom, Naomi, became the best of friends - I know that Naomi and Peg will be having a high time together in heaven.
You have many, many happy memories, as do I. May they comfort you and keep her close to you forever.

Peg is someone who will live forever in my heart and mind. From the first day teaching in clinical when she showed up to support me to convincing Pat to "allow" me to travel with the group to California, she was a force to contend with and I loved her for it. Peg was smart, funny, irreverant and had more energy than the younger faculty. She was a good friend and often made me feel better about my abilities when confidence was flagging.

I am thinking of her children and was so glad to know them all. What a success story to have six such accomplished offspring.

Peg was a life-long friend of my mother, who helped make my teen-age years happier. Her patience and sense of humor helped me so much over the years. She knew few fears and took such great delight in charging full-speed into new adventures. I am deeply grateful for her faithful friendship and the many kindnesses she extended to my family.

I always thought Peg was a fine woman. I only knew her because she exercised at the Edgemoor Club where I work. Now that I see what she accomplished in her life I see she was truly amazing. I know her family is hurting now, but they must be so proud of her legacy. We will miss you Peg!

We only have great memories of your mom from all the weddings we attended together. The comments in the obituary were fascinating. There is so much more to remember her for. Such a tremendous contributor to society. She will be sorely missed but not forgotten.
