Marneice Swift Whitehead passed away at home on May 7, 2013. Born to Jack and Maggie Green Swift on July 28, 1924 in Frankston, Texas - Anderson County.
Preceded in death by parents; husband, Woodrow Whitehead; sister, Martha Hardy; three brothers; Jack Swift Jr., Harold M. Swift, and Gerald M. Swift.
Survived by daughter Jan; three grandchildren and their spouses; Matthew Aaron Downs, Nicholas Ryan and Julie Downs and Sara Elisabeth Swift; three great-grandchildren; Cayman Ray Downs, Asher Wilson Lee Downs and Kailtin Nicole Downs; cousin, Vernon N. Marrs; nieces, Ann Miller, Martinique M. Swift and Heidi A. Anderson; extended family Zeiger family, William A. Jackson, Hinton Family, Theresa Velasco, Rummage family, Gladys Watson, Charlotte Walker and Dupont neighbors.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday May 13, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Grand view Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10:00am also at Grand view Funeral Home. Interment will take place Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas.
