January 19, 1941 - October 16, 2025

Marvin Odesky, 84, passed away on October 16, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Born on January 19, 1941, Marvin was a proud graduate of Scott High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toledo, and later completed his MBA at the University of Akron. A dedicated chemical engineer, Marvin began his career with PPG in Akron, Ohio, and spent the majority of his professional life with W.R. Grace in Cincinnati and Baltimore.

Marvin is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; sister-in-law, Sheila Odesky; nieces, Bonnie Berland and Cheryl (Mitch) Moser; as well as great-nieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces. He was predeceased by parents, Marian and Butch Odesky; his brother, Stan Odesky; and former wife, Jean Odesky.

A man of intelligence, generosity, kindness, and unwavering conviction, Marvin was known for being supportive and steadfast-"solid as a rock." He had a deep love for Carol that those around him could clearly see. In his leisure time, he enjoyed golf, tennis, basketball, following current events, and cheering on his favorite sports teams.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregation Etz Chayim in Toledo, or the BallenIsles Charity Foundation in Palm Beach Gardens.
