Max Aaron Hayes

MAX AARON HAYES Max passed away at his home on Friday, December 9, 2005. He was born in Dinuba, CA on August 3, 1919, and moved to Fresno at the age of ten. He married Estelle Simmons in September of 1939 and they had a loving 66 year marriage. Max graduated from Roosevelt High School and in later years attended Fresno Cty College. He was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army. Max started his own business, Max Hayes Plumbing and Heating Co., in 1947. He retired from the business in 1980. The business is still family owned by his son-in-law and three grandsons. In later years, because of his love of music, he learned to play the piano, bringing many hours of enjoyment to his famiy and friends. Max is survived by his wife Estelle; and two daughters, Judy Swenson and her husband Bob and Nancy McCray and her husband Ken of Sierra Vista, AZ; six grandchildren, Scott, Mark and Rick Swenson and his wife Lisa of Fresno, Melissa Sadorf and her husband David and Heather McCray of Sierra Vista, AZ, and Matt McCray and his wife Tiffany of Loveland, CO; and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Phillip Hayes; and two nieces. He loved the Lord with all of his heart, mind and spirit. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, located at 12168 Willow in Clovis, on Tuesday, December 13, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. WHITEHURSTSullivan, Burns & Blair Chapel1525 E.
