Mildred will forever hold a special place in our hearts.We were blessed to have shared your mom.She has had such a profound and lasting effect on all of our lives. My heartfelt sympathies to Larry, Glenn and Odie. The Davenports have been a part of my life since Phyliss and I attended OSU, used Millie's house as headquarters when we pledged AKA, served as each others maid of honor, and watched a long friendship bloom between our mothers. Ms Davenport was a comfort to my mother Ruth during her dark illness, and a friend to me throughout my life. I shall always cherish her solid advice, loving interest in my family, and her strong energy shown during Phyliss death. I know that Ruthie now has a very good friend with her, and heaven is a enriched place with Millie's presence. Family, thank you for allowing me to be a part of Ms. Davenport life. God bless you and your family and I know that she lives through each of you and your children.
