Hawkinsville, GA- Misty Lee Brooks, 31, died Friday, July 5, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, July 12, 2013, in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery, 3969 Mercer University Drive in Macon. Born in Macon, Misty attended Crawford County Schools and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Christian Blake Gorte and Haley Oliver; parents, Wayne and Florence Brooks; and a brother, Shane Brooks (Teresa), all of Roberta.

sorry for the loss of Misty. From experience of burying two children our family knows the pain of loss. The only words we can give you all is lean on each other,talk if you need to talk, cry if you need to cry, never hold the pain inside, and most of all look to GOD for the comfort you need in this awful situation. And just know that we are here if you need us. We love you all and our prayers are with the whole family. You will never forget but as days go by, it will get easier to cope with the pain. Just remember the good times and the family that will always be there for you. And we are listening if you need to talk. Love and prayers to all.
