Nancy Ruth Neatherlin Anding Briggs

Nancy Ruth Neatherlin Anding Briggs, of Midland, passed away peacefully at her home, with her family at her side, Sunday, March 5, 2006.

She was born August 9, 1939 to Benjamin Franklin Neatherlin and Martha Leona Kennedy Neatherlin in Midland, Texas. Nancy was a graduate of Midland High School. Prior to her retirement, she had been with Mid-West Oil & Gas for sixteen years and owned and operated Anding Oil & Gas for twenty years. After retirement, Nancy enjoyed her work at Memories Unique. She was a member of Stonegate Fellowship and Community Bible Study. Nancy will be missed by all who knew her. She touched the hearts of everyone she met. Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana, a loving sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, A.F. (Andy) Anding.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Jerry Briggs of Midland, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and John Busbee, and their children, John, Josh, Justin and Jake Busbee, all of Midland, TX; brothers, Ben Neatherlin, Jr., and wife, Louise, of Midland, TX; Bill Neatherlin, Sr., and wife, Billie, of Midland, TX; Calvin Neatherlin of Midland, TX; Brad Neatherlin and wife, Angie, of Midland, TX; Mike Neatherlin and wife, Dee, of Weatherford, TX; sisters, Judy Wynn and husband, Jerry, of Colorado City, TX; Paula Neatherlin of Midland, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Ellis Funeral Home, Monday, March 6, 2006 between the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at Stonegate Fellowship. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Marty Pearcy, Cal Neatherlin, Paul Neatherlin, Ben Warren Neatherlin, Johnny Neatherlin, Hoss Neatherlin, Tommy Neatherlin and Eric Neatherlin. Honorary pallbearers are John Busbee, Sr., John Busbee, Jr., Josh Busbee, Justin Busbee, Jake Busbee, Danny Schmidt and Vance Neatherlin.

Nancy's family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Karen Carr of Allison Cancer Center, Dr. G. Brachetta, Dr. J. Mendez, Dr. Carl D'Agostino, and the nurses on 4E at Midland Memorial Hospital. Also, our special thanks to Stonegate Fellowship.
