Nancy Thrasher Obituary
Nancy was a 4th grade teacher for 30 plus years at Anderson Elementary in Conroe, Texas. As well as a devoted member of First Baptist Church Conroe. She loved gardening and crossword puzzles. Nancy was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Carlie Dale Thrasher, daughters, Susan Jan Thrasher and Lisa Ann Thrasher Higgins. She is survived by her son, Larry and wife Julie Thrasher, sisters, Lena Carol Gibson, Barbara Wood and Lynelle Richardson, brother, Archie Byron Robertson Jr., grandchildren, Jacob Dale Thrasher, Clayton Alan Bagwell, Corey Higgins and Cole Higgins, great grandchildren, Emily Bagwell and Brandon Bagwell. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2:00pm in Garden Park Cemetery with visitation start at 12:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. You are invited to view our webpage and leave written tributes to the family at cashnerconroe.com

Mrs. Thrasher was my 4th grade teacher (1976) at Anderson Elementary. She was a teacher that made you feel good about yourself and she had so much patience. I remember she took our whole class to her home for an outing. I have never forgotten that and have always thought about her through the years. She will always be remembered as one of my favorite teachers.

Both my daughter and my son had Mrs. Thrasher as their 4th grade teacher at Anderson Elementary. They both loved her. I served as room mother both times and have wonderful memories of working with her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
