Funeral services for Nicole "Nikki" Jahner, 54, of Dickinson, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Entombment will follow at the Dickinson Mausoleum.
Visitation for Nikki will take place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Friday, January 17, 2025 at Stevenson Funeral Home.
Nikki passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 at her home in Dickinson.
Nicole Ann was born August 5, 1970, in Dickinson, the daughter of Delvern “Del” and Eleanore “Ellie” (Meier) Dvorak. Growing up, she attended Killdeer High School, graduating with the class of 1989. She attended Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, ND. Nikki married Brent Jahner on June 12, 2004 in Dickinson. Nikki had worked in the kitchen at Players for several years. She enjoyed and was the celebrity clown for the Roughrider Parade for over thirty years.
Nikki enjoyed playing sports as part of the Special Olympics and was proud to go with her team to Raleigh, North Carolina. She also took pride in the fact that she was top fundraiser for the March of Dimes.
Nikki loved to listen to music and sing karaoke. She was thrilled to have become the owner/operator of her own business “Star-Lite Karaoke & DJ Services.” She was known as “Rockin’ Nikki”. She continued to play at Hawks Point and sing at St. Luke’s once a month.
Nikki had a very strong faith and believed in Jesus and the Resurrection. Her family draws comfort from the knowledge that Nikki is in heaven.
Nikki will be dearly missed by the many who had come to know her over the years.
Nikki is survived by husband, Brent; mother, Ellie “Meier” Dvorak of St. Augustine, FL; sisters, Lisa (Brian) Breidenbach of Grand Forks and Michelle Dvorak of St. Augustine, FL; nieces, Jordon (Paul) Behm; great niece and nephew, Gia and Jaeger Behm all of Moorhead, MN and Paige Breidenbach of Fargo; and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Del Dvorak (2009).
