The memories of Patricia Fowler, known simply as 'Granny' to me; will forever remain in my heart and mind.
When asked to reflect on Granny, several images have come to me, first and foremost, her beautiful smile. It always managed to somehow light up, not only her face, but the entire room, and if you were lucky enough to be present when she broke into one, you couldn't help but smile as well.
I will always remember all her silly little songs, that were absolutely mandatory if you were riding in the car with her.
There are many more memories, but the most prominent image, the way my mind will always remember her, is the vision of her sitting in her chair, crocheting some beautiful work of art, with her glasses slid down near the tip of her nose, and the way she would look up and over them just to confirm she was listening to every word you were saying.

Patricia was a nice lady that I used to work with at Sutter Gould. My heart goes out to her family. She will be missed by a lot of people.
