RAY MCKOWN Obituary

RAY MCKOWN Ray W. McKown, 83, of Henderson, passed away June 5, 2015. He was born Nov. 25, 1931, in Los Angeles. Ray graduated from Torrance High School. He married Grace Dec. 29, 1962. Ray worked as an aircraft mechanic for McDonnel. He had a passion for cars, cigars, shooting pool, swimming, horse racing and his lovely wife. Ray is survived by his wife, Grace; daughters, Deborah and Cheryl; son, John; stepdaughters, Cheryl, Cindy and Lisa; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Wayne Jones. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, June 10. Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, both at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. Private burial service to follow at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
