Robert Crumpler Obituary
Robert M. Crumpler, 90, was born on December 4, 1922, and passed away on August 8, 2013.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Alma DeLois. He is survived by his son Robert M. Crumpler Jr., and daughters: Betty Jean Fox, Alma LaVerne Midgett, Karen Sue Vail, Elizabeth Gail Dushman, Terrie Elaine Leggett, 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
He served as a US Army Paratrooper in WWII 17th Airborn 513th Company G. He fought in 3 major battles: The Rhineland, Ardennes and Central Europe.
He received a Purple Heart, 3 Bronze Stars, won the American Theatre Campaign medal and The American defense medals.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, August 11, 2013, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013, at 12:30 pm with interment to follow.

Mr. Crumpler you are my favorite patient and always will be. I will miss your stories and your kindness. I'm proud to have known you and will be waiting to see your smiling face when I get to Heaven.
