Robert James Nield passed away on October 12, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 5:00-9:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Chapel at Grand View Funeral Home, with burial to follow at 1:00 pm at Brookside Memorial Park. To Kaye and all the Nield family. I am sorry to hear about your dad. Your dad was a special man. He is in a special place now and surrounded by many loved ones. We offer our condolences and our thoughts and prayers are with you. I do not live in Pasadena so I just found out today of your loss. Take care of yourself. We had some great times at your dad and mom's house as they opened their home to many people.

We were blessed to have Robert as a part of our family! He loved the Lord, his family and his beloved "pretty in purple" Pat. He always had a most pleasant demeanor and incredible wit! He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May the Lord comfort and be with all of his dear family and friends. Thank you for sharing Robert with us!
