Today is your 81st birthday. You will always be alive in my and Emily's hearts. Your mom did a wonderful thing giving birth to you. Bless you both in the Resurrection. The pain you felt when you lost her is now over as you both are in the arms of each other. Both of you are gone from this world all too soon. It would have always been too soon for those of us left. My heart is yours. Love Susan

I learned of Roger's death today in the course of a long overdue visit with his sister, Marlene, and her husband, Ken. My heart is heavy. Roger and my brother, Ron Bloebsum, were contemporaries. I looked to both of them as heroes. Too soon gone, men.
Roger's passion for social outreach and ministry was inspirational. He did what he believed was right in the face of dissenting popular opinion. His love for serving the Lord was simultaneously fiery and gentle. Bless you, as you are now face to face with the source of your being and strength. Love, prayers, and blessings to all who knew and loved you.

I met Roger when Emily and my daughter were both sheep in the Christmas pageant at North church. For many years, I was unaware of Roger's many gifts and accomplishments; I only knew him as Emily's dad. It was obvious how very much he loved that role. Susan and Emily, I'm sorry for your loss.

I had the privilege to work with Roger in the CSE Association for several years. He was the "best" colleague and partner one could have. his qualities, gifts and skills served the church exceeding well. "What you saw was what you got"-- His love for Susan and for Em was deep.

Roger touched lives all over the world. a Few months ago a minister in Northern California mentioned (when she learned I knew Roger) that he was the supported and encouraged her to stay in the ministry. He is the best, she said.

Thanks to God for Roger Miller. I will cherish him and our memories.

Dear Susan, Emily and all other family members,

On Wednesday evening Pastor Eric announced Roger's passing. I was sorry to hear that sad news.

Randy, Janet and Edward Snively got to know Roger, Susan and Emily through joining North Congregational Church. Randy and Edward often saw Roger at the Northmen's monthly breakfasts. Occasionally roger attended the Northmen's' spring retreats which were held at Templed, Hillss and Pilgrim Hills. Once while Eric was ill Roger led the Sunday morning church services.

I want to extend my symmpathy. May you find strength and comfort in the days ahead.

Sincerely yours,

Edward R.

Dear Susan, emily and all family members,

Pastor eric announced Roger's passing on Wednesday evening at the WEBS (Wednesday Evening Book Study). Everyone was so sorry to hear that news.

Randy, Janet and Edward Snively enjoyed knowing Roger, susan and Emily. We would often see Roger on Saturday mornings at the Northmen's monthly church breakfasts. Also I recall that he sometimes came to the men's retreats. I recall that he once filled in for Eric on a Sunday morning for a church service.

I want to extend my symmpathy. May you all find strength and comfort in the days ahead.

Sincerely yours,
