Earlier today
Ron and I were the founding members of the "Brother-In-Law Club" which meant that when playing hearts with my Dad and others, Ron couldn't give me the queen of spades and I couldn't give Ron the queen of spades. It drove my Dad nuts. Soon everyone wanted to join....
It was the best of times.
Thanks Ron

Ron & family, you are in my thoughts and prayers and have my deepest sympathy during this difficult time. I´ll always remember how welcoming your dad always was when we´d hang out at his house back in high school and home from KU-he never minded us raiding the kitchen or laughing too loud. And we did a lot of laughing, many good times and many good memories that I will always cherish. I really enjoyed our conversations, and he always had a way of making me feel like part of the family. And I´ll admit, there were a couple of times when having you as a "Jr." and the son of a police officer let us off with just a warning and a drive the speed limit. Those memories still make me smile. Your dad will be missed; he was a kind soul. I´m grateful for the good times and the kindness he always showed me.

Jeannie, you and Ron were so much a part of our family here at Mount St Scholastica Monastery. Whether it was visiting on The Hill or here in Dooley Center , there was always laughter and smiles to embrace everyone !
When he would teach Weight Watchers here in Atchison he would always come to see `aunt Helen´ in Dooley.....a real delight for sure !
We loved you both, Jean !
Cousin Connie and `aunt Helen´ in heaven.

Sorry to learn of Ron's passing. I have known Ron for close to 50 years. Honest man with a sense of fairness and integrity. I had the privilege of representing Ron several years ago. Loyal family man and friend. RIP.

Trooper/officer Hoyler was always a pleasant, well prepared witness when he appeared in my courtroom, usually on a traffic violation. He was also a great storyteller outside of court. Sorry to read of his passing. May he rest in peace, David Mikesic, DJ, retired, Wyandotte County

We were so lucky to have had Ron in our lives. He was such a nice guy and would do anything in the world for you. Always the optimist he would always respond "not a problem" to anything that came his way. Always generous with his time whether it was playing cards with our dad, constructing an extra bathroom in our basement (without any written plans because they were all "up here"), having us over for the best grilled steaks, baking povitica to give out over the holidays etc... We´re grateful for the years he got to spend with Jeannie and that their marriage brought him into our family.
So many great memories we will hold in our hearts of our wonderful brother-in-law
