Ronald Morgan Obituary

Ronald James Morgan, age 75 of Conroe Texas via Delevan, Franklinville, and Cuba New York passed away on September 19th in the year of 2021. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 24th in Conroe Texas at the Metcalf Funeral Directors, located at 1801 E White Oak Terrace Conroe, Texas 77304.

Ronald Morgan had many passions in his life; Marines, Rock and Roll, being an Uncle, and the Buffalo Bills. He was a proud Marine (1964-1968) who served multiple tours in Vietnam, surviving three helicopter crashes during that time. Rock and Roll led him down an amazing road with journeys and adventures where he met countless celebrities and had some over the top experiences. Ronnie was never shy to share his fortunes and experiences with friends and family with stories, gifts, and backstage passes for some amazing bands! On top of his passions, he was a generous, caring, and compassionate man who always gave and never asked for anything in return. He rarely complained unless the Bills sucked or you messed up his chicken wing recipe, but he would yell at his brother for that one. ?

He is survived by his brother Daryl Morgan, his sister Betty Lavery, his nephews Zach Morgan, Jonah Morgan, Scott Wetzler, Chris Lavery and Nieces Robin Wetzler Colvin, Vicky Lavery. In addition to those he is survived by all the wonderful friends that he met on his fantastic journeys in life.

In lieu of flowers, we would like everyone to donate to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and make it in memory of Ronald Morgan; https://heroes.vfw.org.
