No words can help ease your loss, however, know you are loved and cared about. He's no longer suffering and in pain and he would want you to take comfort in that. Hang in there. Love you.

Roy and I met when we both worked together at Kaiser and American National Can. Roy was a very talented man. Roy was also there to always lend a helping to whoever needed the help. We were members together at the
C.A. Fortner Lodge in Channelview. He was a great friend and a Brother. He will be truly missed.

I have been friends with Roy Akin for forty years. We worked at Kaiser and National Can together. We were both in C.A. Fortner Lodge in Channelview also. Roy was very proud of his children and I watched them grow up over the years from pictures he would show me. I moved to East Texas five years ago and I lost contact with Roy. He always had a positive attitude and a willing hand to help anyone. He had more talent in one hand than most people have in their whole body. We had a lot of good times together. Roy will be missed.
I am proud to have been his friend.
