Scott Lampert

Mansfield - Scott Lampert, 47, of Mansfield, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at his home.

He was born September 1, 1970, in Mansfield, Ohio to Dorwin Sam Lampert and Corrine (Stover) Lampert. Scott graduated in 1988 from Madison High School where he met his high school sweetheart, Dorraine Thayer and they were together for over 30 years. Scott was interested in the success of Madison schools and was a score keeper for various sports. He was very interested in helping young people succeed. An avid sports fan, he coached both his sons and daughter in their sporting activities. He was a fan of the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, and his favorite team, the Madison Rams. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time.

Scott worked for Pepsi for 30 years, most recently as an Account Manager. He was devoted to his family and made certain each one of them knew how much he loved them. He was a funny man with a stubborn streak that served him well throughout life. Scott was someone who set high goals and achieved them, leaving a wonderful legacy of hard work and uncompromising love for his family.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Dorraine Lampert; three children, Alek Lampert, Blake Lampert, and Vivian Lampert; parents, Sam and Corrine Lampert; sister, Michelle (Brian) Dreibelbis; brother-in-law, Matt (Kelly) Thayer; mother-in-law, Shirley (Steve) Burdick; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Ruth Lampert and Roy and Mabel Stover; and uncle, Donald Lampert.

A celebration of Scott's life will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Golf Course, 2235 State Route 430, Mansfield. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
