I can not believe that Stuart passes away already four years ago. As mentioned before he died at the day of my Birthday. So my first thoughts that day are always with him.
As a student from Germany we se-pent the summers of 1972 and 1973 in D.C. having a great time. He showed me the Capitol, White House and all the interesting places there. But the highlight was to drive to Swampscott in a Pinto. Horrible car, but we had fun and spend a great time in Boston and MA.
I miss my friend
RIP Stuart

He lived in Hawaii for many years and made many friends. He knew so much about where to go and what to eat in other countries, and always spoke with such relish. We love him and miss him.

Stuart's humor, wisdom, and aesthetic tastes (especially with respect to Asian art) will be a beacon for my future life paths. Stuart and I shared many significant moments together since our elementary school days in Swampscott. Stuart served as an important mentor for my sons Gordon and David and was an important friend to my late mother Pauline Phillips of Swampscott.
Stuart, We will miss you dearly. Your life works and spirit will not be forgotten.

For most of my life, Stuart was a beacon of wisdom, culture, and humor for me and my family. We shared many events during our secondary school days, including a joint bar mitzvah party at the Hotel Hawthorne in Salem. My wife Yardena Mansoor and our sons Gordon and David shared many memories with Stuart, including his enthusiastic support for our professional and educational pursuits. Stuart's knowledge of Asian art was extraordinary. Stuart loved my late mother Pauline Phillips of Swampscott, and she greatly appreciated his guidance and emotional support during her later years.
Stuart, you will remain an inspiration for us, on how to live an aesthetic and meaningful life.
