PRAMUKA Teresa (Tammy) Antoinette Michini Pramuka, 57, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 26, 1959 to Veronica and Albert Michini. She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and loving husband of 33 years John D. Pramuka, her daughter Julianna Rae Pramuka, her son Camber D. Pramuka and her dog Zena. She was predeceased by a son, Braydon John Pramuka (4/30/1998 - 9/29/1999).Tammy graduated from Brien McMahon High School in 1977, received her BA from the University of Connecticut in 1981, her MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University while working for Bell Communications Research and subsequently worked for American Transtech in Jacksonville Florida. Special thanks are given to her best friend and caregiver Michelle Stacy Mackany. Her greatest passions were music, dance, the beach, but first and foremost her children. Tammy was a charter season ticket holder for the Jacksonville Jaguars and loved the game day excitement and meeting friends at the tailgate. Tammy was very active with the Saint Paul's PTA and carnival, Shands Children's Hospital, the Children's Miracle Network and enthusiastically supported her children's interest in dance, gymnastics and team sports. Tammy asks that you remember her by signing up to be an organ donor and that you give to the Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12 noon at Saint Paul's Catholic Church, 435 1st Avenue North, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250, (904) 249-2600 with a reception to follow. John and Family,

I was very sad to learn of Tammy's illness and passing. I grew up with Tammy in Rowayton, CT. She was my childhood friend. We, and her sister Suzanne, would ride bikes up and down Farm Creek Rd. After school she would come to my house and play board games with my mom. For some reason at the beginning of the year I had been thinking a lot about her.

Tammy was a dear, sweet lady who gave freely of her time in service to others. In her leadeship role with the PTA, she was singularly responsible for bringing Santa Claus to St Pauls to visit with the parish children & families. In doing so, she thus established a wonderful holiday tradition that has now continued for more than eighteen years. Every year I attend the St Paul's Christmas Festival & the Father Daughter Holiday Dance, I think of her. As I look around into all those happy, smiling faces of the children and their parents, I can't help but think there could be no better tribute to Tammy's giving heart, than the many thousands of photographs that have made their way into family photo albums to record those special moments for all time. As for me, I will never forget that very special Christmas Eve when I was invited to spend the evening with the Pramuka family in your home, to celebrate a very special holiday family reunion. What a privilege it was to not only share in the holiday revelry, but to witness the greatest gift exchange imaginable... the sharing of home, hearth, and lifelong love of family. Tammy will be Forever Remembered......every picture tells a story, and the memories last a lifetime, and beyond......
