William Bartram Obituary
1935 - 2021
William H. "Bill" Bartram, age 85, of Grove City, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. Bill was born in Clifford, KY to the late James and Mae (Salmons) Bartram. He was a graduate of the Ohio State Barber College and was a Barber in Grove City for 45 years, many of those years at the Hair Shoppe. Bill was a longtime and dedicated member of Highland Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years. He loved the Lord and lived his faith through his kind heart and generosity to those in need. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Susan, and siblings Glen, Fred Daniel, and Alice Gay Bartram. Bill is survived by his daughter, April (Christopher) Myers; siblings, Sally Wilson, Ella Bert (Rolla) Wagner, Lexie (Donnie) Proctor, James (Judy) Bartram, and Ira David (Jane) Bartram; sister-in-law, Peggy Bartram; he was "Papaw" to his grandchildren, Brad (Genna) Myers, Paige Myers, and Ben (Kayla) Myers; great-grandchildren, Brooks and William Blake Myers; and many nieces and nephews. Bill's family will receive friends 4-7PM Thursday, March 4 at Highland Baptist Church, 3460 Hoover RD., Grove City, where his Funeral Service will be held 10AM Friday. Guests are asked to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Pastor David Thomas officiating. Interment at Concord Cemetery.
