William Friedman Obituary

William Myron Friedman ("Bill"), of Miami, Florida, was born on April 16, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away peacefully at age 88 on October 2, 2018. He graduated from Tech High and then the University of Florida in 1953. He was a very unique architect and designed many unusual properties in Miami including a hospital, shopping center, apartments, townhouses and residences. Bill was adored by his wife of 65 years, Lila, and is loved and will be missed by his daughter, Pam Kong and his late son, Kent. He really enjoyed life and loved all things poker, ponies, football, car racing, bowling, hunting, and fishing and was a pretty great guy. There will be a private graveside service at Riverside Gordon Memorial Chapels at Mount Nebo (Kendall).

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

To the Friedman Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I WILL DEARLY MISS BILL. I LOVED HIS DRY SENSE OF HUMOR, HIS APPROACH TO LIFE, AND THE YEARS OF GIN RUMMY GAMES. HE WAS ONE OF THE "GOOD GUYS" AND MOST OF ALL HE WAS A LOYAL FRIEND..
