William Hunter Obituary
Aug. 27, 1926 - Apr. 21, 2018
William "Bill" McKinley Hunter, born on August 27, 1926 of Betsy Layne, Kentucky, passed away on April, 21, 2018. He served in the Army during WWII from 1944 – 1946. Bill moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1957. He taught in the Sarasota public school system for 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen M. Hunter, his 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Bill touched many lives during his years of coaching and teaching. His love and legacy live on through all of the lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on June 22, 2018 at Palms- Robarts Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. EST. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Tidewell Hospice.
