Charlene Deery Obituary
She was born in Pottstown to Edith M. (Seyler) Krause of Boyertown and the late Charles W. Krause.
Charlene was a 1988 graduate of Oley Valley High School. She was the owner of Bella June Hair Studio for two years, where she worked there as a beautician for many years prior to owning the studio. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, baking, gardening, going to the beach and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed spending time with her pets. Charlene was a member of St. John Hill UCC in Boyertown.
Surviving in addition to her husband and her mother are one son, Benjamin Deery; one daughter, Rachel Deery; two sisters, Michele, wife of Carl Robertson of Boyertown and Jennifer, wife of Anthony Henry of Barto and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Morrell Funeral Home Inc., 124 W. Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA. Relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Hill Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.

Just learned today of Charlene's passing. We are shocked and saddened hearing the news. She was a beautiful person inside and out. We have known her for many years and always enjoyed her visits. My dearest Char, I miss you every day and I still can't believe you aren't here with us. Don't be mad that my tears still fall. Only someone as special as you could bring them at all. Sometimes they're selfish tears because I want you here and other times they're tears of laughter when I think about some of the ridiculous stuff we did together. I will miss you til the day we meet again but I will look for you everywhere. Yesterday, a beautiful butterfly came around me and just lingered for awhile. I am so very sorry I couldn't make it to the service to pay my respects to such a wonderful person!....Charlene had such a kind heart and beautiful smile!....Her laugh was just infectious!....She has been doing my hair for the past 25 years!....I will always cherish the laughs we shared!....Words can not express just how sorry I am for your loss!.....I will keep you in my prayers.

A stylist is someone who you might see every couple of weeks and have small talk, but Charlene was more than that. She watched my two brothers and I grow up into the men we are today. For close to 25 years she was the only one to cut our hair, she was apart of each of our childhoods, and we each looked forward to getting to see Charlene. It was more than small talk when we went to see Char, she knew even the smallest of details about our lives. She truly was an angel on earth that brought happiness to my entire family. We will deeply miss you Char.

Char, I have literally known you all your life. I remember playing out in the yard with Jenny when your Mom brought you home from the hospital when you were born. I have so many memories that I will cherish forever. We've had a lot of laughs over the years. Girls' weekend will never ever be the same without you!
