Deposit - Thomas Hauber, 68, of Deposit passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY.

Thomas was predeceased by his parents George H. & Catherine T. (Volbrecht) Hauber; and sister Joan Patricia Austin, Betty Hibbard, Clayton Warner and Denny Warner

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Brenda (Hibbard) Hauber; children Brandy (Marc) Cerbone, Scott (Barbara) Hauber, and Brett Hauber; grandson Thomas Scott Hauber; brother Jim Hauber; sister and brother-in-law Barbara (Jim) Hoadley and brother-in-law Gary Austin; Marge Warner, Ann Schambach, Tony Warner; father-in-law Richard Hibbard; sisters-in-law Linda Hibbard Kellett, Carrie Hornbeck, Sandy Hibbard Kane (Joel), Sheryl Hibbard (Mark) Kosturock; many nieces and nephews.

Thomas was born and raised in Deposit, NY and graduated from Deposit Central High School where he was an outstanding wrestler. Following High School he attended SUNY Morrisville. He pursued his career in Virginia and then Tennessee. In 1983 he moved back to New York. Thomas was an operator of many types of cranes working for many union and non union contracting companies. He was member of the Masons, the Deposit Fire Department and the emergency response team. He also was very involved in the Deposit Youth Wrestling as well as many other community programs. His hobbies included bowling, golfing, and was a sports enthusiast. Thomas was a man who was devoted to his loving family and will be dearly missed.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 6pm at Hennessey's Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY 13754.

The viewing will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4 to 6pm.

Interment will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit, NY at a later date.
