Extending my deepest sympathy to Ann's family. She was beautiful inside and out and I absolutely loved and adored her. I first met Ann back in the sixties. She was the best friend and co-worker of my mother-in-law, the late Loretta Atkins. When I was a CNA at Memorial Hospital I sometimes worked with both of them in the Newborn Nursery. She also was in the delivery room with me and helped deliver my daughter in 1976. I moved to Colorado but would visit Ann whenever I came back to visit my parents. She lived down the street from my parents on Benedict St. during that time. She was always so happy to see my daughter ( my mother-in-law died two months prior to my daughters birth) and always remarked how thrilled and proud my mother-in-law would have been. The last time I saw Ann was when she was diagnosed with her eye problem and before I knew it she had sold her home and moved. I always thought about her and wondered how she was doing over the years. I was saddened to read of her passing but she will forever remain in my heart, thoughts and prayers. God bless her.
