Ann Pfaff Obituary

Ann Louise Pfaff
7/7/1935 - 1/31/2021
Mrs. Ann Louise Pfaff (née Rosean), of Eugene, OR, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was 85 years old.
Ann was born to parents Harold and Mabel Rosean on July 7, 1935, in Minneapolis, MN. She grew up as the youngest of four children, and eventually her family moved to Oregon, where she attended Springfield High School. Her older brothers were Harold, Jr., Lawrence and Robert. In 1954, she married Don Carter in Bennettsville, SC. They raised their four children in Springfield, OR.
She was a prolific crafter who excelled at knitting and sewing and was also a self-taught artist. She was the proprietor of the Frame and Art Boutique in Springfield for many years.
Ann remarried on November 24, 2000 to her long-time sweetheart, Richard Pfaff. They had rekindled a friendship from high school that blossomed into a love that saw them through thick and thin. Ann and Richard loved spending time together on the Oregon coast and visiting with their family.
Ann is survived by her husband, Richard Pfaff, her sons, Greg Carter (Penne) and Jeff Carter (Sheri), and her daughter, Jody Carter (Randy). Her son, Guy Carter (Melinda) preceded her in death on May 3, 2015. She also has eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
There will be a small private family gathering in remembrance of her.
