Eunice Lowe Gibson passed away suddenly at her home in Menlo Park, CA on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Eunice was born on October 31,1924 on her family farm in Minden, Louisiana. She was the eldest of eight children. After high school graduation, Eunice moved to Shreveport, LA, and at age 18, began her long career with AT&T, working for Southern Bell Telephone, as an operator. She left Shreveport and moved to Fresno, CA in 1949, where she continued with the Telephone Company, eventually working in its offices in Eureka, Vallejo, Sacramento, and San Francisco, where she met her husband, John A. Gibson, at what was then Pacific Bell. They were married in 1971 and moved to Menlo Park. John passed away in April 2006.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
