Mr. Ali A. Mohammadi

Ali A. Mohammadi, whose nickname was Amon, was born in Iran May 5, 1955. Ali passed away on Thursday January 7, 2021 due to complications from Covid 19. He grew up there and graduated from high school there and fulfilled his required military service. He worked on his father's farm and worked for his brother Abraham's construction company before coming to America over 40 years ago. Amon graduated from Roxbury Community College. He worked as a server at Ken's in Boston as well as at the Marriott. He also worked as a cook at Front Page in Charlestown. Amon started his career as a surveyor, spending most of his career working for Kurdish Associates. Cars were a hobby that became a part-time and then a full- time business. He was now owner of Arlington Auto Brokers in Arlington. Amon was always very athletic, on the biking team in high school, as well as enjoying volleyball and soccer. He was a coach for Stoneham Soccer Club and enjoyed teaching his children and their friends the skills and strategies of the game. Amon was also an enthusiastic spectator at all their games. He loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed. Ali is the beloved husband of Rebecca (Weiner) Mohammadi. He is the devoted father of Amon Mohammadi and his fiance Alexandra Lauria and Amanda Sherene Mohammadi. Dear brother of Morad Mohmmadi, Abraham Mohammadi, Mohammed Ghanbari, Aghdas Mohammadi and the late Nebi Mohammadi, Gholam Khani, and Tavoos Khani. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Wednesday from 9:30 am to 1 pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator available. Due to Covid-19 Restriction, masks must be worn at all times and not more than 25% capacity will be allowed in the funeral home at one time. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover at 2 pm.
