Melissa Zerbe Obituary
Dover - Melissa Jean Zerbe died peacefully in her home on May 2, 2018 at the age of 49 after a seven year battle with cancer.
Melissa is survived by her children, Miranda and Tyler Zerbe; her parents, Russell and Jean Zerbe; her brother, Russell Zerbe II; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Melissa was born on October 9, 1968. She graduated from Dover Area High School and attended York Technical Institute's Pharmacy Technician Program. After graduating, she worked in the West York Walmart Pharmacy.
Melissa loved to cook and entertain. She enjoyed hosting large cook-outs at her home for family and friends.
A service is scheduled for May 12 at 11 a.m. at the Bermudian Church of the Brethren, 279 Bermudian Church Rd., East Berlin, PA 17316.
Donations can be made to the Bermudian Church of the Brethren or York Hospice & Community Care.

Miranda and Tyler I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I loved her wonderful outgoing personality. She has raised two bright well rounded children. You both are shining stars. Your mom has always been proud of you both. Continue her legacy and allow your mom to be seen in your daily lives. She was one in a million and has touched many people. Sending our sincere sympathy & prayers to Cook, Russ & family. Melissa was a lovely human being and didn't deserve this. She will always be remembered for hosting the summer picnics in the backyard. I know how much she loved to entertain & she always had a big spread of her delicious dishes. We will also miss her at the Holiday get togethers when we played cards & games.
RIP my dear niece.....and may God bless you and the Zerbe family now and forever.

I am sorry for passing of your mom. I worked with her and did enjoy many conversations about her
children. Her children was her pride and joy. Also mom and dad I know how much you meant to her.
