Robert Pagani Obituary
CENTERBURG: Robert "Bob" L. Pagani, 60, of Centerburg, passed away Monday evening, June 13, 2016. He was born September 21, 1955, in Mansfield, Ohio, one of eight children of the late Richard and Helen (Long) Pagani.
A graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, Bob was a former Mansfield resident, moving to Centerburg in 1994. He entered collision repair immediately following graduation and had dreams of owning his own garage from the beginning. In 2014, that dream came true when, along with his son, Bobby, he opened Pagani's Downtown Car Care in Newark, Ohio. Bob had worked at John Hinderer Honda for 14 years, prior to opening his own shop. A lifelong passion of collision repair and doing business with integrity, his customers were most important to him. Making sure they were satisfied and he had exceeded their expectations were his main goals.
Bob was devoted to his family and loved spending time with them and his friends, traveling, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed a lively round of golf with his sons and buddies.
Bob is survived by two sons, Bobby Jo (Whitney) Pagani and Ricky Vernon Pagani; three beautiful grandchildren, Jayden Andrew, Francesca Jean and Cooper Reed Pagani; three brothers, Larry (Terri) Pagani, David Pagani and Ken Pagani; three sisters, Carol (Monroe) Lewis, Cathy (Tom) Musille and Christine (Eric) Mickley; an uncle, Dale (Lil) Long; significant other, Nancy Long; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Ann (Thompson) Pagani on March 20, 2004; his sister, Mary Lou Pagani; his father-in-law, Lester Vernon Thompson and mother-in-law, Betty Lou Thompson.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 - 7::00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service conducted by Pastor Malcolm Davis will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial in Springmill Cemetery will immediately follow.

BOBBY AND RICKY I JUST HEARD FROM JIM PERKINS ABOUT YOUR DAD. I'M SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND FAMILIES. I REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH BOB IN MANSFIELD AND REMEMBER YOU BOTH COMING IN THE BODYSHOP.
I MISSED SEEING YOUR MOM AND DAD AND KEEPING UP WITH YOU GUYS. IF I HAD KNOWN I WOULD HAVE BEEN TO THE SERVICES. HE WAS PROUD OF YOU BOYS AND I KNEW HIS DREAM OF OPENING HIS OWN BUSINESS AND HAVING BOBBY JOE WORK WITH HIM. MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU KNOWING HE IS WITH YOUR MOM.

I knew Bob when he worked at John Hinderer Honda. Bob always wanted his associates to do well. I am glad he achieved his dream, before his untimely passing. Condolences to his family and friends.
