She was the most amazing person I had the pleasure of meeting. She was my son’s history teacher in 7th grade and she was amazing with him. My son is autistic and she spent many hours working with him just to make sure he was successful. She even kept in touch with us even after my son graduated from middle school. She always wanted to know how her students were doing. I am deeply saddened by this loss, but I know heaven gain another angel and in that I find peace. She was so loved and she loved everyone back. I can’t say enough about how my family feels about Mrs. Sidhu.

I knew Mrs. Sidhu as my 7th grade history teacher and still to this day I always remember how much fun she made history and how she would always dress up as KISS.

Mrs. Sidhu is an amazing teacher who touched many, many young lives. Our family is fortunate to have been blessed by her presence, her rare grace in the face of adversity and her stoic dedication to academic rigor. Her family is in our hearts.

Mrs. Sidhu inspired me, like her teachers inspired her, to become an educator. She is hands-down one of the BEST educators in the district. My brother and I both won the teacher lottery and got to learn from her. Not only did we learn the subject-matter at hand, but also a tremendous amount of responsibility, pride, and organization. She held us students accountable and to a high-standard, but it never felt hard because she made learning enjoyable. I printed out and kept a School Loop message because her praise felt like a million bucks.
I enjoyed keeping in touch with her throughout our years after Albiani and it always put a smile on my face seeing a message from her pop up.
Her passion and love for teaching are inspiring and tough to match (because she truly is that amazing). Her adoration for her family is even that more inspiring. I know she loved teaching, but it was even more obvious how much she LOVED her family.
I am thinking of her children and praying for her family constantly. She is and will always truly be missed. She was a gem and I am so lucky to have witnessed a true champion.
