Edith Roff Obituary
Our beloved Edith A. "Edie" Roff passed away on July 30, 2017. She was born on April 22, 1946 in Clayton, New Mexico to the late Grace and James Hale. Edie is survived by her husband of 38 years Jerry, six children Don, Deserie (Bill), David (Starlene), Denise (Jodi), Chris (Angela) & Scott (Svenja), brother James "John" Hale, Jr., nine grandchildren Nick, Matthew, Bill Jr., Kevin, James, Riley, Kacey, Hayden and Haley. She was preceded in death by a baby girl Courtney and her best friend and big sister Tarla (Cissy) Alley. Edie spent a large part of her life in service to others. After finishing college, she worked in the real estate office of Del E. Webb helping to establish Sun City. She then worked for 36 years in Information Technology at the Arizona Department of Health Services and concurrently for 42 years as a college professor (computers). Known as "Granny" to many people who knew her, Edie was a warm and wonderful soul and carried her happy energy everywhere she went. Edie's presence was spectacular and her beau
tiful face, giant heart and loving soul leaves a huge hole in the world. We are all blessed and grateful to have known her.
