Robert Lanese Obituary

Lanese, Robert M.
Robert M. Lanese "Bob", passed away the evening of December 6, 2013 after a short battle with cancer, at home surrounded by love with his wife Ann and children. Bob was a good and decent man, a Marine that fought in Korea who didn't expect to see 20 and lived to be 78. He had three children, one who preceded him in death and the other two (Karla and Mike) who battled the snow and cold to travel from Denver to Lakeside to spend his last hours with him and his loving wife Ann. Bob was a proud man. Proud to have served his country as a Marine and proud to have coached Pop Warner football boys to a state championship. Bob was a loving man. He LOVED football! Not only playing in High School and at Kent State, but coaching Pop Warner and assisting at Cortez High School. He loved his Cleveland Browns and Arizona Wildcats. He loved his family and friends and all the good times spent with them. He was so happy to spend the last eight years (full time) on the mountain. Not only because of the beautiful seasons, scenery and fishing, but because of the most wonderful, caring people on earth. He is also survived by his sister, Natalie, two step-sons, Mike and Craig Davis and seven grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
