CHRISTOPHER TOMKINSON Obituary
41, of Boston / Andover MA passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2013. Beloved son of Lester and Barbara (Urnikis) Tomkinson. Brother of Matthew and wife Christina, Uncle to Drake and Gabriel. Chris graduated from St. John's Prep, Danvers, MA and Penn State University. He was employed at Bank of America, Investments, for 17 years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christopher T. Tomkinson Educational Fund, C/O Matthew J. Tomkinson, Enterprise Bank, 237 Littleton RD, Westford, MA 01886. Family and friends may call on Saturday, Dec. 7th from 1 to 5 PM at Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover, MA 01810. Interment will be private. To leave on-line condolences please visit

Chris is a fixture of my childhood memories, and I am very sorry to hear that he has passed so young. I hope that his friends and family can find some peace this season.

Dear Les, Barb & Matt
We were so saddened to hear of Chris' passing. It seems like just yesterday when they were at the Prep. We had a bench in memory of Brandon placed in front of the Arts Center at the Prep and it helps to go and sit and think about our son. Do hope if you need a place to think about Chris that you will stop and ponder. Keep those wonderful memories of him close to your heart. We wish you peace.

This is extremely sad news. My deepestest sympathies to the Tomkinson family. Chris was a terrific teammate at Bank of America, who I had the pleasure to work with on many occasions. He was very capable and filled many roles and he cared deeply about our clients.
We also worked out at the same health club in the building- by coincidence, often side by side on the bike machines. I would be huffing and puffing and barely able to focus on a People Magazine. I would marvel that Chris would be reading and underlining small text from business articles, learning and growing... He will be missed.
