My deepest condolences to Professor Bae's wife Ann and family. I worked for Frank as a librarian for five years in the 80s and looking back I remember his compassion and kindness to myself and the other staff. When a friend who worked in the library died very young, while she was hospitalized Frank would not accept her resignation so her health insurance could continue. He was kind to all his staff, never demeaning, never disrespectful, always trying to help us develop more skills. I am very sorry for your loss.
