Manchester, Tennessee - John Raymond Bechdolt Jr. 70 of Manchester, TN passed away peacefully at home on August 17th, 2023.

John Raymond Bechdolt Jr. was born June 2,1953 to his mother, Marjorie Bechdolt and father John R. Bechdolt, Sr. He grew up in Toledo with his 2 sisters, Leslie and Linda, graduating from Whitmer High school in 1971. In his early years, John gained and mastered an interest in motorcycles and mechanics. He moved to Bradenton Fl in his 20s, and upon learning he would soon be a father began his 35-year career at Tropicana. John gave his life to the Lord in 1992, and married Kristen Bechdolt soon after. Together, they dedicated their lives to serving the Lord, and raising their two daughters, Harmony and Kristen. John served his community through his prison and homeless ministry, where he partnered with the Christian Motorcycle Association to spread the gospel and the message of salvation. He embodied the works of Christ with his generosity, honesty, and humility. John was a very gentle and sensitive man with a profound sense of humor. He adored children and animals, namely his exotic parrots. He made many lifelong friends, and those who had the opportunity to meet him were instantly enamored by his humor and charm. After helping raise their grandchildren, John and Kristen decided to retire to a simpler life on a quiet piece of land in Manchester TN. Together they worked on homesteading skills such as gardening and carpentry.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 31 years, Kristen M. Bechdolt, their two daughters, Harmony A. Vizenor and Kristen L Wood, his mother, Marjorie L. Bechdolt, and his two loving sisters Leslie A. Fair and Linda S Bechdolt. He will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren, Aaron Murray, Summer Murray, Ariana Cruz, Elijah Wood, and Noah Wood.
