Mildred WIGGINS Obituary
Passed away peacefully, on December 1, 2022. Beloved wife of Raymond Wiggins Sr.; cherished mother of Valerie (Richard) Shaw, Carla Wiggins, Leslie (Anthony)Peasant, and Raymond Jr., treasured grandmother of Rachel, Jordan, and Jocelyn. Also survived by siblings, Jerry Alice Scott (Walter), Barbara Nevergold (Paul), Merwyn Jones, Gerald (Deborah), Bruce, and David (Paulette) Seals, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Franklin Roosevelt, John Douglas, Willie Patterson, James Charles Seals, Philip Jones, Dr. Kenneth Seals, and aunt, Alice Seals Lewis. Daughter of the late Rev. W. B. Seals, stepmother, Clara Ellis Seals, and mother, Nettie Mae Patterson Jones. Mildred was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church for over three decades and was recognized as a Mother of the Church; A retiree, she was a valued employee of the Western New York Developmental Center. Mrs. Wiggins relocated to Atlanta, GA in July with her husband and children. The family will be present at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville, GA. on December 14, 2022. Services at 2:00 pm. will be live-streamed: http://www.hightowersmemorial.com, Interment will take place at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.

One of the nicest, kindest, sweetest people I had the pleasure to meet. I´ve been friends with her daughter Carla for close to 40 yrs-I met Mrs Wiggins around the same time. I will remember her smile, kindness, and calm aura. She and Mr Wiggins attended our wedding 24 yrs ago. Such a beautiful soul-inside and out. Our deepest condolences go out to the family during this time.

Am so sorry to hear our beloved Millie has passed. A genuine light in this world. Worked w my mother and brother at the blue goose . Always supporting Ray whom I think of often. Our sincere condolences. Both mom and John have also passed.
