Phyllis MARGREY-MATTAR Obituary
March 3, 2022, age 85. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth C. Margrey; devoted mother of Mark (Janet) Mattar, Wendy (Dale) Harman, Nina (Robert) Reinken, William (Kathleen) Mattar, Paul (Amy) Mattar, Camille (Kenneth) Johnson, and Bradley Mattar; loving grandmother of Leanne (Ben) Pate, Julianne (Robert) Lord, Dianne (Paul) Detwiler, Scott (Sarah Laible) Harman, Victorian Mattar, Timothy (Stephanie Knight) Reinken, Tricia (James O'Brien) Reinken, Lou (Jami) Curtis-Mattar, Michael, Peter, Patrick, and James Mattar; cherished great-grandmother of Johnathan, Nathan, and Hailey; dear sister of Elaine (Lawrence) Mattar; former spouse and friend of Norman (Mary Pat) Mattar; sister-in-law of Dianne Janzen; also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will be present Sunday from 1-5 PM at the (Tonawanda Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2600 Sheridan Dr. (at Parker Blvd.). Family and friends are invited Monday at 10 AM to attend a Funeral Service celebrated from Deerhurst Presbyterian Church, 257 Deerhurst Park Blvd., Tonawanda, NY 14150. Live streaming available at deerhurstchurch.org. Please assemble at church. Interment to follow in St. John Cemetery, Cheektowaga, NY. The family is requesting anyone attending that is unvaccinated to please wear a mask at all times or test themselves prior to attending. Flowers gratefully declined. We bought our house on Fairlawn Drive from Phyllis in 1987. We love seeing her in William's commercials, especially the one that recreates 90 Fairlawn's back staircase and fireplace. She was a lovely and elegant lady and I'm sure your family will miss her dearly.

I´m so sorry to learn about Phyllis. On behalf of the Schulz family, please know we´re thinking of you and keeping you all in our hearts and prayers. I enjoyed some phone calls with Phyllis after my father passed and appreciated hearing her stories and memories from childhood between the Kolbe and Schulz families. I know how difficult this loss is for all of you.
