Although I hadn't seen you in many years, I have thought of you often. I remember running past that creepy old barn to get to the porch when Grammy Verna or Pappy McCloskey would bring me and Jimmy with them to visit you. I remember you letting me pick blueberries off of your bushes up the hill. You are the reason I like Fig Newtons. I hope you are in Heaven surrounded by everyone and watching a ballgame with Pappy. I love you.

The trips to see Uncle Davey and Pap with my Mom, Mary, were always joyous and happy memories of my childhood! I can still picture Davey in his spot sitting next to the iron stove in the kitchen! I fondly recall the trips in his Jeep going deep into the surrounding forest! We would drive around, he educating me to the wonders of nature and me soaking it all in as the kid from "the big city"! All these memories I will forever cherish! RIP Uncle Davey!

He was a great Uncle. I will remember always running over the tracks to pick berries & hide in the cellar in the hill. He never ceased to make me laugh. I remember the old piano, the grand old radio and swinging on the porch swing. He will definitely be missed & loved always. An Angel got his wings the day he went home to Heaven. R.I.P.

I'll always remember playing ball across the street from his house with Ron, James,Amy, Chris, and Naomi. Picking berries, and playing horseshoes at his house. And just sitting by the old stove and talking.
