Andrew Lavender Obituary
Funeral services were 11 am Monday, July 13, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery.
Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS handled the arrangements.
Andrew would be a senior this year at Lee Academy. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was a member St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
Survivors include: parents, John and Celia Curcio Lavender of Clarksdale, MS; sister, Catherine W. Lavender of Clarksdale, MS; grandmothers, Dora Borgognoni Curcio of Clarksdale and Virginia Sherman Lavender of Memphis, TN; aunts and uncles, Linda Servadio and family, Charles Curcio, Jr. and family, Anita Brint and family, Sheila Riddick and family, James Curcio and family, Susan (Kris) Kelley, Darby (Wanda) Lavender, Kay Wall and family and Melissa Lavender.
Memorials may be sent to St. Elizabeth Building Fund.

Hi Celia. It has been around 25 years! I heard about your son's death from Helen Fayard. We both work in the St. Martin School District. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family. I have three children, Brett 22, Andrew 17, and Ashley 15. Brett is a senior at Belmont University in Nashville, Andrew is a senior in high school and Ashley is a sophomore in high school. I am married and live in Ocean Springs. Do you ever come down to the coast? You can contact me through the school e-mail.
Again, please accept my deepest condolences. Even though I never met him, I am a mother and I can only try to emphathize with your deep sorrow. I pray that Jesus will give you peace that only come from Him in times like these.

you are all devastated, as any parent
would be. I did not know him but I am
sure he was a wonderful young man. John, I remember seeing you at Daddy's
funeral - wish we'd had more time to
talk. Where is Kay? Give all your
