My husband and I first met Sandra in a chemo room at Baptist. It was May 2012. I was there for my first treatment for ovarian cancer. Her smile, laughter and encouraging words were just what I needed at that time and we became fast friends, chemo buddies. She and Jim were there for every one of my treatments. She had such courage and faith, and I am truly blessed to have known her and to call her my friend. She is an inspiration to me, and I'm sure to many, many others. Jim, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss! You all will be in our thoughts and prayers!
Sandy and I met through my daughter, Gretchen Hinton. I worked in her office at Edward Jones during her absence.
She was a very gracious and kind person.
Sandy will be greatly missed.

Sandra and I met in elementary school and maintained our friendship, although not close, for over sixty years. She was always a dainty little thing with the sweetest disposition! When we renewed our friendship many years after high school, I wasn't surprised to see she had never changed! Her love of Jesus and her family were always evident. She fought a hard battle, and now she's with her Savior. May you, her family and friends, find peace and comfort in knowing where she is and there is no more pain and suffering.

My deepest condolences to the family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I would like to add how beautiful she was outside and inside. I met her when I started at Edward Jones in 2009, and we had so many lunch dates, chats, and texts. She will be truly missed, I love her with my being, and I know she's in her heavenly place worry and a pain free forever. Amen

I came to know Sandy through the Edward Jones office in Ridgeland, and she quickly became a friend. She was always smiling and helpful, and her sweet spirit shone through. I never heard her complain, and what a courageous lady through all her illness. Deepest sympathy to all the family. May God comfort you in the loss of this dear lady.
